Incorporated in 1986, Skymit Motors Limited is one the leading automobile company. They became fully operational 1987 and over the years Skymit Limited has grown from leaps and bounds judging from its yearly average gross sales of approximately N2 Billion last year.

Skymit Limited prides itself as one of the leading auto companies in Nigeria. The entry of the company into the automobile industry is to cater for the needs of a selected group of Nigeria’s corporate organizations and high-net worth individuals who are in dire need of corporate, sleek but durable cars at affordable prices, packaged and tailored towards their financial status and personality.

Skymit mission is to bridge the gap whereby all ranges of the latest model of cars are displayed within few weeks that the cars are released into the market, all in one premises; unlike in the case of many other auto companies where only fewer and outdated models/brands are displayed, thereby limiting prospective buyers to fewer choices.

Skymit intends to be a leader in the auto-world in Nigeria by striving to improve upon its affiliated branch network and in the next few years open an Assembly Plant for a major car model.

Our company’s other unique service is the trade-in offer provides a buyer to bring in a fairly used, but good in condition cars, and exchange for another brand of car by only paying the difference. Our regular customers are also encouraged to deposit before delivery, a percentage of the price of a new car and the balance worked out to the convenience of our clients’ car financing.

THE EXECUTIVE TEAM

MR TAYO AYENI
The Chairman/CEO of the company. He is a qualified Electrical Engineer. He is also the Executive Chairman of other companies such as Affordable Cars Limited, Space Ventures Limited, Moontrends Holdings Limited, Limoserve just to mention a few.
He is on the board and a shareholder of some other notable Nigeria companies. He is a member of the Nigerian-Italian Alumni, Nigeria-South Africa Chambers of Commerce. Member, Ikoyi Club, Lagos Country Club. He is a patron of many philanthropic and social organizations. He is happily married with 5 children. Mr. Ayeni has won several local and international awards from exemplary entrepreneurship.

MRS ADETUTU AYENI (BL, LLB).
She is an Executive Director, (Admin/Legal). Up till December 2004, Mrs Ayeni was the pioneer Managing Director of Skymiles Travels Tours Limited.
She is also the advisory Council of the prestigious Grange School. She is happily married with 5 children.

MR. BIOLA AYENI
He is an Executive Director (Marketing). He was the General Manager of Skymit till 1995 before setting up Affordable Cars as the Chief Executive Officer. He is a graduate of Marketing and a Member of American Marketing Association. He is happily married with children.

MR A. BIMPE OGUNTIBEJU
He is the Group General Manager (Treasury& Financial Services). Before Skymit Limited, he was with Owena Bank Plc, where he rose to the level of a Senior Manager. He was the Manager of Ikeja, Apapa, Akure and Kano Branches at various times.

While serving in Kano, he won a “High Flier” Award for shining performances in 1990 and ultimately became the Senior Manager of Docemo Branch in the heart of Lagos Island. He had brief stints at C.Ray Company Limited and Omojuwa Industries Limited as General Manager/Consultant.
Mr. Oguntibeju holds a B.Sc (Hons) in Economics and Master in Business Administration both at the University of Lagos, Akoka, Yaba.
He is happily married with children. He loves reading, music, visiting and community/spiritual services.

It is important to stress that Skymit have an after sale workshop at its Ultra Modern Showroom/Office Complex adjacent Sheraton Hotels in Ikeja.
The Workshop Consists: The Mechanical and Electrical/Electronic section. The Lube, a Diagnostic Center, the Panel Beating and Spray Section, Wheel Alignment and Tyre Section, a 24hour Towing Services and a large stock of Spare Parts Depot.(specially for fleet services).
Skymit also have a working workshop arrangement with representative of the Manufacturers of Mercedes Benz, Nissan, Toyota and Volkswagen Vehicles (In the area of processing of after-sales Warranty) in Nigeria.
